Level 1 - Basic Brain Gym® Courses - Open To All

101 - Brain Gym® 101 (BG101)

Experience whole brain integration through whole body movement. Learn twenty-six Brain Gym® exercises, the Edu-K Balance process, and Dennison Laterality Repatterning. Discover a permanent tool for reaching personal goals. Applications for students, teachers, parents, artists, athletes, health care practitioners, and business professionals. (Course prices vary by instructor and location. 24 credit points for licensure)

104 - Brain Gym® 26 Movements (BG104)

Dive deep into the 26 Brain Gym® activities. Experience them in your body. Gain a better understanding of each movement, the philosophy behind the Brain Gym program, and how this knowledge can support your daily life routine. Open to all.

105 - Double Doodle Play, A Window Into Whole-Brain Vision (DD)

In this introductory course we will use the Double Doodle and other movements from Brain Gym® and Vision Gym® to explore and enhance visual perception and artistic expression. Participants will, through experience and discussion, gain a finer understanding of the relationship among visual skills, hand-eye coordination, and creative expression. Applications for parents, teachers and various age groups will be addressed.

106 - Hands On - How to Use Brain Gym® in the Classroom and Beyond (HO)

Using the photo-rich book, 'Hands On: how to use Brain Gym® in the classroom' as a manual,  participants will gain experiential insight into using Brain Gym® in the classroom and with their clients.

110 - 26 Movement Facilitator Training (BG 110)

This course prepares one to become a Licensed Brain Gym Movement Facilitator who is authorized to teach Brain Gym® 104 and create customized workshops up to 6 hours. Participants practice teaching concepts, as well as giving and receiving feedback. The course covers administrative details for Movement Facilitators.  

181 - Faculty At Work (FW)

Observe the experts at work! A Brain Gym® Faculty member creates this course for professional members. There will be opportunities to watch, give and/or receive Edu-K balances, ask questions, and refine techniques. This class can be face-to-face, on-line or a hybrid. Contact a Faculty member to register your interest in other topics.

182 - Faculty at Work (FW2)

Get the answers direct from the experts, the Brain Gym® Faculty. This day-long course is created for professional members. It may include balances, discussion and paired practicing of techniques. This class can be face-to-face, online or a hybrid of the two. Contact a Faculty member to find out about future topics.

201 - Optimal Brain Organization (OBO)

Discover the concepts of hemispheric specialization, identification, and balancing to facilitate whole-brain learning. Prerequisite: Brain Gym® 101.

214 - In Synch I - Integrating the Senses Through Movement (IS)

This course offers an innovative technique to effectively and quickly integrate the far and near senses. Understand the important connection that movement and the senses have to learning. Experience how essential sensory integration is to optimal development. Open to students who have taken Brain Gym® 101. Please contact licensed instructor Claire Hocking.

220 - Visioncircles™ (VC)

A road map to the completion of developmental skills through movement, play, and art. Emphasis on vision enhancement. (Course prices vary by instructor and location. Please contact a licensed Instructor for current price. 24 credit points for licensure.)

223 - Movement Dynamics, Part One: Exploring Three Dimensions (MD1)

Experience the joy of movement expression through a deepening of the three Edu-K dimensions and balances for such goals as improved nonverbal communication. Learn playful Cross Crawl variations and new applications for this expanded Edu-K menu. Open to students who have taken Brain Gym® 101.

224 - Movement Dynamics, Part Two: Flow Medleys (MD2)

Discover the pleasure of doing Brain Gym® and Vision Gym to integrating music, in easy movement flows. Includes new balances for Dynamic Ergonomics and movement development. Open to students who have taken Brain Gym® 101 and Movement Dynamics, Part One.

Level 3 - Prerequisite: BG 101

301 - Edu-K In Depth: Seven Dimensions of Intelligence (EID)

Hands-on experience with seven dimensions of body movement, focusing on how each can support or block the learning process. Learn twelve new integrated movements. Students learn to permanently integrate the principles of whole brain learning into their own processes. Open to students who have taken Brain Gym® 101 and completed the 4 case studies. Prerequisite for Brain Gym® instructor licensure.

302 - Faculty at Work In Depth (FWID)

Go deeper with the Seven Dimensions of Intelligence! This is a customized day-long course that may include group assessment, goal setting, facilitation, balances, discussion, paired practicing and more. The format may be face-to-face, online or a hybrid of the two. Contact faculty to schedule! Pre-req: In Depth 301.

360 - Creative Vision (CV)

This workshop presents both an objective and subjective exploration of the learner's visual capacity. Participants will gain new understanding of vision and movement and how they relate to learning, reading, and other life skills. Prerequisite: Brain Gym® Teacher Practicum and Visioncircles.

380 - Integrating Primitive Reflexes Using Brain Gym and Touch for Health- (IPR)

Experience eight balances to integrate eight primitive reflexes, using Brain Gym® & Touch for Health balancing techniques. This course will cover which meridian is associated with different reflexes. It includes the Moro (including an Adrenal balance), Spinal Galant, Tonic Labrythine Reflex, Fear Paralysis, Asymmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex, Symmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex, Palmer & Babinski reflexes. 385 - Motivation of the Three Dimensions (MTD)

A Deeper Understanding of the Three Dimensions course is taught within the Brain Gym® 101 balance framework, with new In-Depth Checks and Learning Menu. It provides a simple framework to draw out awareness of our relationship to ourselves and others, allowing more resilience and choice in our response to dealing with life’s challenges. “Motivation refers to the underlying force or hidden agendas, which either moves and positively supports us to do what we do, or works actively to attract negative attention, and undermine or sabotage our goals. By becoming aware of, and clearing unconscious limiting beliefs and emotional reactivity, we are able to integrate fragmented self-concepts and resolve conflict.”

Level 4 - Prerequisite: Completion of Licensing Requirements

401 - Brain Gym® Teacher Practicum (P)

Designed for those who wish to develop and successfully teach Brain Gym® in a class or private format. Provides instruction in theory, teaching methods, and procedures, and development of an action plan for achieving professional goals. Please refer to the Professional Training Requirement for Australia. 

411 - Movement Facilitator Practicum

This course is designed for licensed Brain Gym® Instructors who wish to develop and successfully teach not only Brain Gym®104 and Brain Gym®101, but also Brain Gym®110. BG110 is the final course a student needs to become a licensed Movement Facilitator. This course teaches Instructors how to teach BG110. Open only to Licensed Brain Gym Instructors who, in the last 7 years, have taught BG104 and BG101 twice, a 3rd course of their choice at least once; and attended BG110.

Level 5 - Teacher Training

505 - Double Doodle Play: A Window to Whole Brain Vision Teachers' Training (DDTT)

This Teacher Training course supports Brain Gym® instructors in learning to facilitate Double Doodle Play: A Window to Whole Brain Vision. This basic experiential approach to playful art uses the  Double Doodle activity from Brain Gym® in mixed media projects to explore visual skills and hand eye coordination for sustained attention in the midfield. The homeplay for this course is to compete and submit to the instructor a  Double Doodle Play portfolio.Course manual included.

551 - Visioncircles™ Teacher Training (VCTT)

Participants experience the ways vision is expanded and enlarged by the other senses, and learn how to facilitate sensory awareness and perceptual skills in others. This class is a requirement for licensure as a Visioncircles Instructor.

552 - Optimal Brain Organization Teacher Training (OBOTT)

Optimal Brain Organization Teacher Training is  a 24 hour workshop to empower and clarify the unique Brain Organization work of Dr. Paul Dennison and Gail Dennison. All instructors must attend this training to teach this course.

556 - Hands On Teacher Training (HOM)

This 3-day Teacher Mentoring process supports Brain Gym Instructors to present the Hands On 2 day Workshop. Mentees receive a comprehensive workshop toolbox of materials, posters, handouts and music. During the 3 days, the detailed Instructor Supplement is clearly highlighted for easy use when teaching. In addition, outlines and support materials are received for smooth facilitation of the Hands On workshop. Prerequisites: Mentees must be Brain Gym Instructors and have attended 2 Hands On workshops with two different instructors.

020 - Switched-On Selling (SOS)

The Switched-On Selling™ Seminar is an exciting new concept for improving sales. This sales training system is different, unique, and geared for everyone from the beginning sales person to those who have achieved a high level of success and would like to move to the top of their profession. The Switched-On-Selling™ Seminar does not include a single sales technique during the entire day. Instead Brain Gym® activities are applied to the sales process.  Accredited by the National Association of Sales Professionals. Open to all.

040 - Switched-On Network Marketing™ (SONM)

This  workshop is an exciting new concept for improving sales. It is different, unique, and geared for everyone from the beginning sales person to those who have achieved a high level of success and would like to move to the top of their profession.
