Basketball warm-up routine

I was new to playing basketball and needed some help with coordination and learning ball skills. I did Space Buttons, which helped running feel better. It was coordinated, flowing and ‘smooth’- not as ‘chunky’.

When I had trouble following the ball I did The Cross Crawl. Then I could more quickly see the position of the ball while finding my position in the basketball key.

After having trouble with eye-hand coordination at basketball I did a Midline Movement, The Energiser. I’m impressed that by doing this exercise it helped my ball handling skills.

When I needed help to follow the coach’s instructions, Think of an X was easy to do any time during the game or at practice. It just made what the coach said easier to follow.

Belly Breathing helped me to breathe more easily when playing a game. I didn’t get puffed out as quickly.
